i have been thinking of this tumblr post daily since i saw it
screenshot of a tumblr post and reply. original post, by user "chroniclesofchronicillness," includes a chart drawn in comic form. The chart depicts a large circle, labeled "your tank," and a smaller circle, labeled "your effort." The large circle is filled to 40% with blue ink to indicate capacity; an arrow is drawn to the small "effort" circle, which is shaded entirely blue, clearly representing that its area is the same as 40% of the larger circle. A caption on the comic reads "When you only have 40% and you give 40%, you gave 100%." The comic is signed by artist Saurabh Bhatnagar. The original tumblr poster comments on the comic "This makes so much sense." Below that, a reply to the post is visible, by user "random-fandom-place." The reply text reads "This accurately displays 'running on fumes' as well. Like, once you get to, say, 5% in your tank. Still 100% of your effort. This is such an amazing visual.
