I've been getting real tired of so many AI slop history/sword/military videos that are just... wrong.

So I made a channel dedicated to debunking them.

Marcus Vance's Sword Knowledge Level surpasses Italian fencing master Fiore de Liberi.

Fiore is recognized as one of the best sword masters on Earth

Vance achieved this NATURALLY with his unorthodox nerd lifestyle

Their primary weapon is the "finger laser" linked to their armor's power supply, and it seems really good.

Can be used for mining at low settings. Erases limbs. Easily 40k Hot-Shot lasgun level—but not too accurate at longer ranger.

For that, they have grenade launchers.

Their armor is a space suit with internal exoskeleton, and, unfortunately, doesn't seem to offer notable protection.

However, it does put them in the Spartan/Space Marine ballpark of lifting strength, so that's good.

The Forever War is a staple of military science fiction.

It focuses on a soldier jumping forward in time due to FTL travel coming back to a new Earth after each battle.

The weapons are blueprints for future scifi.

But can their soldiers beat up a 40k Space Marine?

Law enforcement are instructed to focus on the green zones in order to keep batons "less lethal."

Striking other areas can be seen as an escalation of force.

Accidentally ended up with two of these since I didn't realize there were two editions...

It's probably the fur, but this lamellar armor just looks way more intimidating than standard plate.

Norwegian peasant militia axes were weird. But the curved head was so you get the leverage of an axe, but a similar drawing/cutting motion you get with a curved sword. It's one of those designs that didn't really make it.

We gotta stop this "Warhammer 40k is more advanced because it's 40,000 years"

Space Marines get stronger by getting injected with hormones and eating ceramics for a year so it fuses with their bones.

Cyberpunk has a nanite injection that rebuilds muscle casually over 2 weeks.

Stumbled on an active sword auction and immediately want the first two.

I'm afraid to scroll down more

Since I've been talking a lot about Cyberpunk VS Warhammer 40K, here is a 2020 bolter.

.71 caliber (18mm (approx 18x50)) rocket propelled armor-piercing incendiary round.
Has an onboard ballistics computer, and the projectile can be guided.

He was a competitive kickboxer.

A basic SoB rose to top ranks in unethical military school as a child and then went to unethical special forces school as an adult.

It'll be fast.

Love how the Acceltra in @warframe.com is more like a fighter jet with wing missiles

Tell me your favorite sword and I'll rank it purely based on personal preference

Read through planned projects from the Combat Capabilities Development Command Army Research Lab (DEVCOM ARL).

Lots of "how can we use machine learning/AI for war"

Lots of "how can we 3D print war stuff"

Some "really sounds like they want super soldiers"

Some eldritch horror summoning stuff

Currently fascinated with Swedish machete cutlasses.

Joe Rogan has a samurai sword that's 500 years old he likes to show off to guests.
Is that impressive? Sort of.
The NTHK is a non-profit organization that preserves and certifies the authenticity of Japanese blades, and finding some made by reputable historic smiths isn't difficult.

Anyone can buy.

We don't talk about how overpowered Cyberpunk can be.

You can walk into a mall and walk out with skin that stops pistol rounds...

Just learned that Andrew Tate walks around his house with a sword because it makes him feel like a commander.

And it's just a blunt stainless steel display sword.

I got my info from this.

With gyrojets, they did flop. However, we tried making them before we landed on the moon. Before the Internet existed.
I'm confident that we can do better with modern tech.

Warhammer 40k bolter.

The green part, 6, is the explosive charge.
By volume, this would equal about 13 grams of modern Composition B, which would have a lethal radius of half a meter. Under 2 feet.

What's kind funny is the US military has tested duplex ammo (firing two bullets per bullet)

They've found that it just performs better out to 300 meters.

And we've done nothing with this knowledge.
