I’m moving away from white flour toward whole grains. This is my first 2:2:1 whole wheat/rye/white loaf and I’m loving it. The trick is to stick to one loaf per week.

I didn’t go to the Cape this weekend because I need to work. How I say, “I’m procrastinating” without saying, “I’m procrastinating” in two photos. Not seen: Prepping for kombucha making and maybe coffee roasting. Nothing like a little self-induced angst.

Last weekend, I roasted Full City and City+ and have started testing my first blend. Not half bad. I just have to dial back the number of tests in a day or they’ll be peeling me off the ceiling.
