I did the same and told my sis she should come here and live with me rent free to get Canadian healthcare before she's too old to travel.
She made her choice, sadly and lives in Arizona, so the dear old friends she is staying for are mostly MAGA! It makes me sad, but I've tried since 2016. 😑
