Professional Northerner desperately clinging to technological developments yet failing miserably at every turn! Legacy fan, ex-LMTB and ST holder, veteran of tokens, priced out of it. 🔴⚪️⚫️ 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
First tranche of Epstein files were released about 90 minutes ago ... with journalists everywhere pouring through the documents to see what they can glean.

You can bet that any recriminating documents concerning Republicans won't appear in this tranche!

Later than planned to bed last night thanks to a combination of Bridget Jones and George Harrison - but I have no regrets.

Why are schools - primary and secondary - breaking up at lunchtime today? They should have let them have the whole day off.

Well that exchange of a faulty item went brilliantly, much better than I had hoped. It just shows what can be done on the odd occasions when a product is faulty, no hassle or scepticism.

What an incredibly courageous couple Chris and Sarra Hoy are, inspirational in the face of adversity.

I voted for Ellie Kildunne first time around so I'll stick with her. #SPOTY

Team of the year a toss up between the Lionesses or the Red Roses for me, not the Ryder Cup team. #SPOTY

This time next week, I'd assume that we won't be too far off tucking into Christmas dinner. 🦃

Brilliant result for @manutdwomen.bsky.social , winning it Turin but just missing out on automatic qualification into the quarter finals by a point ... into the knock outs.

I caught a cold lurgy a fortnight ago and seem unable to throw off the dregs. Still a bit short on juice, a bit fuzzy etc. I don't want a resurgence in time to ruin Christmas.

Strange seeing a guy who you were an undergraduate with many years ago interviewed on regional TV.

The latest spot in the Council's named bin lorry fleet, Bin Diesel ... not as good as Usain Volt, but ok.

I think that's my last trip into town before Xmas, mopping up the outstanding bits and buying some cheese and marmalade as a treat for me ... plus having a bratwurst and a mug of gluhwein as a reward for my efforts.

Looks like it's graduation day at the university. Plenty of caps and gowns, ditto best bib and tucker or frock ... but one guy thinks that trainers are fine!

With Netanyahu so quick to apportion blame and responsibility for the Manchester synagogue attack on the UK gvt and the Bondi Beach attack on the Australian gvt, why's he never accepted any personal or collective blame or responsibility for the October 7th attacks? Hypocritical!

That was a mad 2nd half.

Disappointed not to win but also relieved not to lose.
