Disagree with Shearer and Williams saying it's ok for 2 players to walk straight off, going against the manager's desire for them to join the rest in acknowledging the fans. The fans deserve respect.

Keith Hackett's talking bollocks once again, claiming that Forest should have had a penalty for Amad's "handball".

I thought the law stipulated thathitting the arm above where a short sleeve would be wasn't handball regardless of intent.

FWIW, I thought it hit his shoulder.

No need. I have a telescopic extension pole but the ceiling is within arm's reach at around 7ft 9ins - 8ft.

Sounds pretty much like I thought from the radio commentary then, must have been concentrating more than I thought. 😂

The corner that Casemiro scored from probably shouldn't have been, but sometimes you get those calls and sometimes you don't. Annoying if it's against you.

Painting a ceiling is really tough on my neck but at least I don't have to use ladders to add to the degree of contortion required!

It was difficult to tell whilst painting but my impression would be that we edged the 1st half and should have been further ahead, but Forest edged most of the 2nd so overall pleased we got something, progress from last season.

Pereira and the Wolves players sounded really down, not what fans want to hear if they're hoping for a revival. Seemed a bit odd to me to extend the manager's contract a few weeks ago when the team was struggling.

Decorating whilst listening to the match probably isn't the greatest idea I've ever had but time is finite.

My nerves weren't made an easier by the coverage breaking up a few times in the final 10 minutes or so.

I remember putting in an extra day's work to laminate some exhibition panels prior to installation and listening to United's game at Forest in February 1999.

There wasn't much laminating being done in the last 15 minutes as Ole went to work and it finished 1 - 8.

A win would be great

Agreed. They have to reach a limit where the whole thing crashes ... but somehow they've managed to dodge that bullet so far.

When I had a ST, you could see some regulars were leaving every season, whether through age, work, style of play, crazy ko scheduling, disillusionment etc.

I'd extend that bar to everyone. No place for "public" schools in the C21st, effectively a private members club.

Definitely compulsory loss of titles and criminal prosecutions.

They should be paid for their ceremonial duties and expenses, and state owned residences should fall on the taxpayer to maintain but agree that private residences should be their responsibility, paid via their income.

I hadn't even spotted the typo ... and I've done a lot of proof reading in my time. Your eye reads what it thinks should be there sometimes. 😆

The days of it being a working class game have long since gone. That's not necessarily a problem, but there should be accessibility for all.

Instead of subsidising the energy costs of some industries, why not focus on driving the costs of energy down so everyone benefits?

Maybe because you're not familiar with it.

I think when you've grown up with it, you accept it by and large whether you're a royalist or not. The republican movement is pretty small.

It's only really in times of scandal that some begin to question its role or the numbers who are active.

Yes. I'm guessing that Football League games are scheduled for earlier in the day so the choices were 12.30, 5.30 or 8.

I've attended games on Boxing Day, some at bizarre times to disrupt social plans and sometimes the worse for wear after Christmas!
