I have been trying to be a cartoonist for 25 years. I’m not trying to cartoon other people’s OP. I’m just trying to get people to care about my comics. Which is near impossible. Any yet, I keep drawing. I keep putting it all out for people to see. That is my advice to young cartoonists. Keep going.

I am a Designer/Production Lead at a print shop. 4 times a year I print books for a veterans group that has this image on the back cover. it drives me insane! The shadows don't match! I highlighted the blue shadow that goes back and the red shadows are going forward? Where is the light source?
