P.S. not even if it was real I would come close to that... those scam/bait accounts get more ridiculous everyday.

Another first in pic but detected in audio and using lenses more than a year ago; What appears to be a summer tanager and in this particular case a female one :)

It has joined the flock that makes me a visit every morning in the window.

If, as a government, you complain about the past administration using its power to promote ideas (many of which have nothing to do with politics), then maaaaybeeeee, you shouldn't be doing this too... 🤦

And we have another new juvenile hummingbird coming to the place to sing! #birds I have a hummingbird orchestra nowadays!

To show how chill is the newest addition to the hummingbirds that visit this page every morning... we have him chilling in front of the window as I record the little buddy. You can hear one of the kittens that is currently having a sinus infection in the background 😂! (goes for warm milk)

And we have a new hummingbird that comes ever morning apart from Lemon, Lettuce, Nori and Pear (Rufous tailed , Buff bellied, Wedge tailed Sabrewing, Rufous tailed respectively). Extremely young one tbh! and the species is unknown to me but it is extremely chill and friendly!

The tropical belt is les active today as the season starts wane out but not yet there, we will have still some storms at the Indic, Pacific and Atlantic. Melissa now post tropical cyclone apparenlty will end in some pace between the Faroe archipelago and Iceland, almost 10,000 km... quite a HIKE!

Cognac cappuccino, anyone? With regionally sourced coffee and milk, of course!

And our puffed band-backed wrens have been quite silent today... Quite an unexpected feature (maybe a bug)! They’re usually very noisy, but the cold evening and dry morning took their toll, and they seemed tired as they fed around the canopy.

Hazelnut, one of our red bellied squirrels, came to eat some seeds this morning, and I think we can all easily tell that he’s a guy (yes that is his penis if I am not wrong 😂)!

Melissa has been doing her worst. If anyone thought this had ended, it hasn’t. It regained strength before hitting Cuba after weakening over Jamaica, and now it’s doing the same as it moves toward the Bermuda isles... 🧵1/3

No he didn't... the rest is below, those posts are wrong. ( and yes I am against Musk behavior and how he supports right wing movements trough fear propaganda; however in this case the genocide info is there 😬).

Jesus I had to defend Melania once already, don't do this to me guys...

As the NOAA gives a last lap around Melissa, the eye is about to landfall right into Black River Bay, the next 36 hours as it crosses all way to Bahamas/Turks will be the most important ones in the region this year 😬…

Guten Morgen! Today is the horrible, and it’s getting stronger by the minute as it rushes toward Jamaica/Cuba/Bahamas. If I’m not wrong, it has areas with sustained winds near 305 km/h, the pressure inside is about 88% of normal atmospheric pressure, and it has the driest eye ever recorded.
October 28, 2025 at 1:45 PM
So it has happened, the storm has reached sustained winds around ~280km/h with some gusts higher as 300 km/h…

The NOAA and the Airforce are converging this morning in hurricane Melissa, making more measurements inside the storm...
October 27, 2025 at 1:33 PM
Gluten Morgen! As Sunday unfolds, Mellissa keeps moving. In a few hours, it will reach Category 5. The U.S. Air Force is currently flying inside collecting data. The eye is apparently 20–22 km wide, which is large enough to fit the entire city of Boston and part of its metropolitan area inside...

That monster might soon also dispute the throne of the strongest wind and storm this 2025. Melissa is about to transform into the THIRD category five hurricane this season in the North Atlantic and the Forth category 5 storm if we consider also Ragasa in the western Pacific...

Looks like a wasp, is not? Well, it’s not! It’s a fly! Evolution does strange things & if it works, it works! This is a fly of the genus Systropus, found on every continent (not Antarctica). This one appears to be Systropus macer, found mostly from Quebec/Maine down to Texas.

We knew it was just a matter of time and chance, and this might be the seasonal tragedy of the year on the continent. It is already pouring rain in Puerto Rico and the first deaths are reported in Española (Haiti/Republica Dominicana). It might hit Jamaica, Bahamas and Cuba too apparently... 🫠
