I used speckled brownstone (last I had from Highwater Clay in Asheville🫂) and black underglaze. The one with the cat in the tree gave me a nice surprise as the speckles look like stars around the moon.

So long story short, Ive become a chicken mom but didn't think about how wind will just blow that chicken house across your yard(I caught it in time). 6 hours of tying it down while listening to MSWord read my WIP back to me ended with Mittens keeping a newly laid egg safe❤️. Fek it. I want a barn.

Has anyone else watched #Hedda yet?? Tessa Thompson is so damn good! I confess, I turned it off before the ending because I had to pretend to be a responsible adult and I wanted to experience it without distraction. Nina Hoss and Imogen Poots are MAGNIFICANT. Can't wait to see the end. #moviesky

So after a kiln fail I have found a glaze that likes the clay body I'm using. Making a batch of mugs dedicated to #appalachiantrail enthusiasts and those who love hiking! Will post when I've set up pre-orders on my web page (tonight after work) #potterysky #hiking

Hells yeah! My last batch practically melted in the kiln, but I found a glaze to match the iron in this clay body. New batch of mugs being made now!!

My hen laid her first 3 eggs and I went to fry them this morn and all 3 were doubles! The 'chicken mom' thing hit me so hard -- I love them so much!

So my rooster looked very alert and I thought maybe he was growing out of his boyish ways and was thinking of killing me🤔. We often cuddle. W/hurt feelings I walked away and squatted to do something. He waddled over and sat beneath my leg and I draped my arm around his fat body and all was right.

My neighbors have a ton of chickens and they run free but their rooster has started attacking me and my rooster (who roams in a contained environment but theirs climbs through holes to fight mine). Anyhoo, I decided if they won't keep their chix I will, and it paid off! Mine don't lay yet so I'm 😀😀
