In this budget Carney:

✅ cuts luxury taxes on private jets and yachts
✅ removes the empty house tax
✅ cuts corporate taxes lower than the 🇺🇸 rate
✅ ties healthcare transfers to GDP resulting in a $300M reduction per year
✅ cuts WAGE by over 50% in a GBV crisis
✅ eliminates 40k jobs

I hope people take the opportunity before their right to vote is gone. This is one of the last checks and balances that seem to be left at least somewhat uncorrupted.

As kids in Alberta we used to always have knee deep snow and blistering cold or blizzard on Halloween. But I'd kind of rather have that than pouring rain.

Sadly the current right-wing coalition government in Finland has cut the funding for the nation’s “Housing First” success story, & homelessness is now on the rise again. That just reinforces the fact that such programs work, if political ideology doesn’t stand in the way.
