One of the biggest mistakes politicians are making is not to be as outraged by attacks on trans girls as cis girls. They're girls not "LGBT+ people". GIRLS.

Oh, also an equestrian who lives near me drives their car to the top of our road to feed their horses at the stable. So. No, not active travel!

But yes, obviously where a route uses an existing bridleway it has to be ok for equestrians.

Unfortunately, including them on infrastructure also tends to mean using unsealed surfaces, which for practical active travel routes isn’t accessible. Our LA used Flexipave for this reason on one project and then apparently vowed not to use it again because it took ages. Now it seems we get gravel.

Bless. They’ve blocked me.

There’s a door from the garage. They don’t go outside without the SUV. WAIT….where does the mud come from?…

Your question is disingenuous. I want people to have better public transport so they don’t have to drive as much (not NEVER), and MORE IMPORTANTLY those in such areas who can’t drive have a better quality of life. AGAIN the money has to come from somewhere.

And somehow they think only those who choose to live in an isolated area can possibly understand.

It is. It’s happening in Groningen too. Pretty shocking considering they closed the fracking field because of damage caused to properties. isds.bilaterals.org?aftershock-i...

Interesting that these delivery robots are being used on the pavement. I can't find any type approval or permissions.

I did find a 2022 Cambridge Council doc that says the DfT advised as yet no legal definition but they were likely motor vehicles and not permitted on pavement.
