I love San Francisco. It’s a little nutty, overpriced, chilly/foggy, and downright nonsensical sometimes, but it’s gay AF and there’s no place I’d be happier.

(1) I grew up intermittently poor and decided that was never, ever, ever, ever, *ever* happening to me again.
(2) I wasn’t sporty or masculine but was rewarded for my academic successes so I quadruped down on that as a closeted gay kid and found a way to make (1) happen that’s been a lot of fun.

Well-regulated, European style capitalism has a lot to recommend it. Healthier, longer, and happier lives, on average, than we have. More wealth than attempts at true socialism. Republicans calling access to healthcare and education “socialism” could come back to bite everyone.

I obviously adore cats but Waymos don’t jump up on the sidewalk and hit them. I could easily see myself hitting a cat dodging the chaos of 16th street traffic. Keep cats indoors when they’re not on a leash!
