Good to welcome Josh Cooper back from injury in Saturday’s defeat to Arbroath, his first appearance since the match away to St Johnstone on 19th September. Cooper underwent surgery during a seven-week absence that brought a frustrating halt to what had been a promising start to the campaign. #pars

The painting entitled 'A Time to Mourn, a Time to Dance' –
Iain Campbell has become known for using his artistic talent to raise awareness around issues of injustice. This piece, created using images taken by Palestinian photojournalist Majdi Fathi is the biggest painting he's created so far.

The highs and lows of being a #pars fan. The final minutes of a poor match with the scores 1-1 our striker drives into the box and is taken out. We celebrate but no penalty, the referee points to outside the box and books the defender! Then Arbroath score a winner with the final kick of the match!!

Off to see the #pars play Arbroath today with my son and two grandsons who get in for £1 in return for donations to the Dunfermline foodbank @trussellscot.bsky.social I am expecting a tough game but hoping for a win that would take us above them in the league.

Fans support all their players but there is always something extra special to see young players who have come through the youth ranks break into the first team and become established. This season has been a break through season for the Tod brothers especially playing for Scotland under age teams.

Nobody cares about a football team's third strip which is just a means to bring in some extra money for the club. Yet the #pars have based their strips on a Skids album and it seems that fans (of the club but also of the group) keep buying them with stock running out and more to be ordered - again!

Unusual problem for the #pars in that we are losing our midfielder Alfons Amade as he heads off to represent Mozambique in the African Nations Cup with matches against Ivory Coast, Gabon and Cameroon to be played on 24th, 28th and 31st December.

Thanks to everyone who donated to the food collections over Thursday to Saturday. Over half a tonne of food was donated to Dunfermline Foodbank which provides a much needed boost to our stocks coming up to Christmas. @trussellscot.bsky.social Thanks also to all the volunteers who made it possible.

Roddy Smith of Essential Edinburgh acknowledged the stark reality facing the city noting that 80,000 residents in Edinburgh live in relative poverty, 10,000 rely on food banks, and homelessness in Scotland is rising sharply, with 38,674 adults and 15,046 children assessed as homeless in 2024/25.

Delighted to see Dunfermline drawn at home to play Hibs in the Scottish Cup - it should be a good match and it will be great to see the ground filled to capacity with a superb atmosphere - #pars

Chris Kane scored twice as the #pars beat Queen of the South 2-1 in the Scottish Cup and now look forward to the draw for the next round when the premiership teams take part. Hoping for a home tie against one of the smaller clubs.

So the #pars play Queen of the South in the Scottish Cup today.

Neil Lennon commented "You just never know where a cup run will take you. I always say to the players, you don’t want to be sitting in the house watching a game when you’re thinking you could be there."

With key players missing the #pars lost 1-0 at Partick Thistle who go joint top of the league. The team did not play well as recently but such a young side will always struggle to maintain consistent high standards.

After defensive midfielder Charlie Gilmour scoring his first goal for the #pars in our 1-0 win against Morton, we now face second top of the table Partick Thistle in the re-arranged match on Tuesday evening. Both teams go into the match on good form having lost just one of their previous six games.
November 23, 2025 at 2:39 PM
So the #pars managed to beat Morton 1-0 and probably should have won by more goals given the chances created. Having commented on Matty Todd forcing his way back into the side then a similar success has been Chris Hamilton who again demonstrated his importance to the team when defending a lead.

Tough game for the #pars tomorrow at home to Morton.

“Dougie does really well at this level with the teams that he has. They’re always hard-working. They’ve got a wee bit of quality in the top end of the pitch. They’ve got a good mentality and are really difficult to beat.” Neil Lennon.

While all the attention has been on Scotland beating Denmark 4-2 to qualify for the World Cup, earlier that evening the under 21 side beat Bulgaria 1-0. #pars players Jeremiah Chilokoa-Mullen and Andrew Tod were both in the team while on-loan striker Barney Stewart was a substitute and came on.
