Love the photos on Bluesky of the night sky with the stars - a number of which are posted by that photo guy including this spectacular one below. #photography

Loved watching the first episode of Hamza's Hidden Wild Isles yesterday evening. The scene with the fast flowing incoming high tide with the predators gathering to feast was amazing.

We are excited to watch Hamza's Hidden Wild Isles on BBC One tonight. Hamza Yassin is travelling around the UK to uncover hidden wildlife spectacles. Hamza filmed some of the first episode amongst the Bluebells at Ebernoe Common Nature Reserve.

UNRWA’s humanitarian supplies are sitting in warehouses outside #Gaza - banned from entering by Israeli Authorities.

We have enough food for the entire population for 3 months stuck in Egypt & Jordan.

There’s no more time to lose - we need a green light to start bringing in UNRWA’s aid immediately

"There’s another group of people experiencing homelessness who have fallen through the cracks. Out of sight, out of mind. They may be bunking with friends, sleeping on families’ sofas, sleeping in cars parked out of sight. People in this position may not even consider themselves homeless."

We can all see rough sleepers on our streets, but a much higher number of people are experiencing homelessness out of view.

Memories of my school days when we learned that there were two famous inscriptions at the Oracle at Delphi - "Know thyself" and "Nothing in excess". Good advice.

Great #photography with the sunset through the clouds and the reflections in the water.

Just off the 'Road To The Isles', a stunning autumn evening on the shores of Loch Eil, near Fort William in the Western Scottish Highlands. The sun has set but a rich warm afterglow contrasts the cooler tones.

A difference in my #photography compared to the dedicated photographers who post on bluesky is often the light. Whereas I can see a picture and take it immediately they will return to take the photograph when the light is just perfect. This picture would not be the same if it had been taken mid-day.

If nobody is prepared to admit they were responsible for blocking his family for coming to Britain with a valid explanation then they should be allowed to come. Officials need to change the mindset where the default position is to refuse permission.

Nostalgic for anyone who remembers the rickety old lift that took sailors up from the British navy ships berthed in grand harbour to the upper barraka gardens. #malta

'AUTUMN ON LOCH LEVEN'

Golden autumn trees reflect on the still waters of Loch Leven as a lone canoeist glides beneath snow-capped peaks and soft Highland skies.

A photograph of a calm Highland lake surrounded by golden autumn trees, their bright leaves mirrored in the still water below. A single canoeist glides quietly across the loch, appearing small against the backdrop of tall, snow-dusted mountains in the distance. Above, a soft morning sky adds to the sense of peace and stillness in the scene.

Excellent summary of why Maria Corina Machado fully deserved to win the Nobel Peace Prize. Anyone who watched the recent tv series of Michael Palin in Venezuela would have seen all the efforts by the corrupt President Maduro to promote himself and suppress opposition.

Fuel poverty, overcrowding, and ageing homes are driving damp and mould across Scotland.

Tenants are doing their best in impossible conditions but are being blamed for causing something they can't control. The system must change! #WorldHomelessDay #HousingEmergency
