I felt incredibly protective of my 2nd son from the moment he was born but felt like I didn’t love him yet in the same way as I did my 1st because I didn’t ‘know’ him yet. Might be completely different for you but also might be worth knowing that it doesn’t last & I very quickly loved him for him.
