I've always imagined the QFL diagram like that.

Colloquially.

Also: I sure am glad that I don't have a big audience on here, or anywhere for that matter. It would be *exhausting* to be yelled at every time I made a mistake.

(I mean, yelled at by other people; I already yell at myself kind of a lot. Not to brag...)

I think that the "little bits of basalt" is an important distinction, mostly because I remember being pleasantly surprised because basalt usually doesn't behave like that; it usually forms big rocks.

Like, yeah, it could have been worded differently, but it's fine.

I thought about finding a new team when Belichick left, but I couldn't stay mad at the Patriots. They're America's team; they've got a guy with a freakin' tricorn hat as their logo. Come on!
January 26, 2026 at 5:34 PM
Let's settle this with science: what does the computer say about America's love for the Pats?

Because they took an oath. it’s not hard.

It's the part of all this that I still can't wrap my head around: this administration only respects the law insofar as it punishes their opponents. They feel no obligation to follow the rules. This should really, really matter.
January 24, 2026 at 11:39 PM
To clarify: I think it will, in the aggregate. I'm optimistic on that front.

I hope little changes like this lead to meaningful changes when it comes time to vote.
