Just trying to channel a small bit of aviation photography from earlier in the year. (This was with a very long lens and they were not close to each other in reality)

A few shots from the weekend's Seafair. Some interesting clouds that made the photography a bit more challenging for someone still learning how to get the white balance and exposure right!

Flying into Seatac on clear day never gets old.

Update: lil guy is off at the rehabber. Some air conditioning perked him right up, and any sound from me on the drive caused him to point his head right at me and open wide.

A little too young to be out of the nest, and nothing nearby. Let's get you to a rehabber.

Got in some PNW birding today at Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge, about an hour south of Seattle. One of my favorite places, and haven't been for years.

Never gets old, even on a hazy day. Rainier and Mt St Helens, just barely visible behind and to the left.

I have flown out of MCO a hundred times and never gone straight east like this over the water. Great view of Port Canaveral but unfortunately right over the launch pads and no good views from my seats. So close.

Show me one picture from Star Trek that perfectly embodies your aura.

(In this case, foreground or background depending on the moment)

Yeah, this is part of why I'm a reconstructionist now. If the American system failed because of some brilliant, charismatic, competent, long term assault... I'd still fight it. But we wouldn't be unique.

But it didn't. I still feel like Arrested Development every day. Him?

Packed Seattle Center today. Couldn't even get close enough to hear the speakers. Light rail totally full, signs all through downtown. #handsoff

Not fooling anyone, but a good attempt.
