My major project for this week, a 2-character piece for two of my lovely regulars. This is on 11” x 14” paper so quite a lot bigger than I usually do for commissions but I wanted to have plenty of room.

Art, creativity, joy, beauty - this is everything they’re trying to take away from us right now. You can care about what’s going on in the world and still make art, even if you keep those two things separated for your own sanity.

Folks, please don’t tell artists they shouldn’t be making or selling their art right now. For many, it’s how they pay the bills. Art is vital during times like this. ALL ART. Whether it’s a protest sign or a book cover or just a beautiful drawing. It’s part of the heart of humanity.
