I'm reading about Old French as a part of my Modern French learning plan. I don't think it makes sense to me to actually learn OF, but knowing the etymology and grammar changes certainly helps to understand quirks in MF.

I think this is a healthy way to do it. Because what's the alternative - should lib creators maintain them forever? If a project has well-defined goals and those goals are reached, it's just natural to say "I'm done".

We're going to look into this. The main idea behind this feature was that if you already have plugins.sbt, adding new plugins to it is easy. But if you don't, there are those initial steps that you have to take - create a file, name it, open it - and IJ can take care of that for you.
