I spent the last 3 days in Kraków, teaching "Functional Programming in Scala" on AGH University. Lecturing is hard. My brain doesn't work today 😅 But I'm also very happy. I've met a group of smart, ambitious students who were really interested in the subject.

Just wanted to share this. I'm visiting my family home for Easter and I've found those books. They are Polish translations of the Videssos series. I bought them in 1995. I was 13 years old.

In the near future, I'm going to teach Scala at a few Polish universities, including my alma mater. Sometimes it's going to be guest lectures, sometimes longer courses.
And my next big hobby project is to explain LLMs in simple terms on YouTube. But first I need to dust off my knowledge about it.

This year my oak decided not to lose its leaves and be a fabulous redhead all winter. I'm not entirely sure how it's going to deal with the fact it needs new green leaves, now that it's spring. Anyone knows a tree therapist?

I noticed this lazy bumble-ass because the flower shook. She didn't even flew on it, just climbed up and down from one flower to another.
In other news, I have free water from a well. And I'm starting to like gardening which means I'm seriously getting old.

Really well done. Great attention to detail. Despite that the main character wears a classic D&D outfit, everything else is clearly based on Anglo-Saxon clothes, weaponry, jewelry, etc. Also a good, solid story, a bit on the history drama side. #WaroftheRohirrim

Video recording tip: By sliding the current script line under the camera, and looking at it slightly from below, you can get the effect of looking at the camera while you read the script. That's less time spent on editing.

2015-2017 was also when I ran a few marathons and half-marathons dressed as a Spartan, and when I went on a 2000km bicycle trip from Poland to Greece. My greatest adventure so far, but I'm not dead yet. /6
