What's your source on 26 kph? I've been trying to research this.

I've listed some improvements. I just have other urbanist and human goals beyond solely reducing the number of cars on the road in the short term. We could ban taxis/rideshare too and reduce cars in the short term, but I think that would be bad also.

Here are some other good urbanist outcomes (long term): fewer deaths/injuries, less car ownership, fewer parked cars, fewer parking lots, less emissions and noise pollution (electric cars). Happier people bc they don't have to drive. Etc.

I'm not aware of the data on this. I would guess it replaces a meaningful portion of existing trips (Uber/cab) in the short term, growing in the long term as they become a fixture and people can sell their cars or not buy them. It would create new trips too, but it's still a net good imo.

Waymo will reduce deaths in the short term, and reduce car ownership in the long term. Waymos are also safer for cyclists, won't use bus-only lanes, etc. To me that's an urbanist win, even though public transit needs to be the focus.

Why shouldn't you, other than it looking like impersonation?

That's fair.
