I think Worms 3D in-game worms are the best design in the series. They look adorable and cartoony on their own yet also threatening when wielding weapons.
Worms 3D's artwork and then Worms 4 Mayhem gave them much smaller pupils, which is more cartoony but just not as cute.

Oh are they ever, they're used for Homing Attack chains in both episodes.
The blue ones no longer have spikes, but there's a red variant which does use the spikes, to make some chains trickier to pull off.

Fun Fact: Team Sonic Racing basically retcons SA2's levels to take place on Angel Island's Sandopolis, instead of just some "desert area."
