I never thought I'd get really into a midwest emo band, but I tagged along with Ashley to a Prince Daddy show a couple years ago and the opener Saturdays at Your Place pulled me in. Saw them headline in Atlanta last night and they were so good.

I think this is the best used record find I've ever had. Got this for I think $10 maybe 15 years ago. Original 2003 press!

One of the other openers, End It, was fun too. They're a hardcore band which generally isn't my thing, but they had great energy and put on a good show. My phone's camera sucks but I like this picture I got of them.

Lucked out and got a copy of the original 2004 press of Good News For People Who Love Bad News in great condition for only $30 on eBay. I don't listen to this album very often lately but it's always a good one to revisit.

Modest Mouse in Charlotte was so good but I feel like we got robbed of what would have been a much better encore. Hopefully I'll get another chance to see them play "Lives" sometime.
