I never thought I'd get really into a midwest emo band, but I tagged along with Ashley to a Prince Daddy show a couple years ago and the opener Saturdays at Your Place pulled me in. Saw them headline in Atlanta last night and they were so good.

Mountain Goats were fun, even though I only knew two songs! Also, I'm surprised I've never been to the Windjammer. Pretty decent, small outdoor venue.

Went to see Cloud Nothings open for Superheaven and ended up leaving 2 or 3 songs into Superheaven's set. They weren't bad, just... uninteresting. Cloud Nothings killed it though.

Was thinking I might have to skip seeing @jeffrosenstock.bsky.social with PUP next month due to financial reasons, when I happen to check tickets and see there's a "Low Income" ticket option for only $28 after fees?? Amazing. Not that tickets were crazy expensive anyway, but that extra $20 helps!
