Here's a few resources you can use to push back:

members.parliament.uk/members/comm...
Call the numbers below for payment processors V
www.senate.gov/senators/sen... (US)
www.aph.gov.au/Senators_and... (AU)

Other people are welcome to provide other resources as well.

Above all, keep fighting. ✊

This isn't the end. Nor are we at the end game right now.

The internet was always meant to be open, free and built to allow the world to communicate. Let's not surround ourselves in doomerism and push back for better solutions that protect our rights.

Don't waste this before it's too late.

I don't live in doomerism. I hope you can tell. Please use your voice, your worry, anger and fear, towards politicians, towards payment processors, daily, hell, even hourly.

Annoy the living fuck out of them.* Because they don't dictate your life.

*don't harass them. Be relentless, not cruel.

Do not accept this situation of "Oh, I need my ID to view the situation in Gaza" as defeat. It is not defeat, but we need to not lead it in a direction where these platforms are the only things that exist on the internet.

The law can be amended. You just need to lead the charge.

The internet is not dead, but it's dangerously centralised. We need to support decentralisation as an option, and if not, continue to push politicians to stop policing the internet.

Invest in the cracks. Indie web forums, decentralised hosting, hell, even support @newgrounds.com if you can.

If companies can genuinely feel the heat in this regard, who's to say we can't push back for politicians?

The "Repeal the OSA" petition has nearly 500,000 signatures, and Wikipedia is already suing the UK government for categorising Wikipedia as a danger to children "supposedly".

It's sheer vulnerability on their part, and the fact that so many adult creators have been fighting this battle for years, even beyond the internet, shows this is a massive issue that deserves recognition.

On that note, we need to push for more options in payment processors, not this shit duopoly.

Remember, we're still knee deep in the Visa/MasterCard adult policy war. And because of pressure, they had to respond. Not a great statement from either of them, but the fact they're responding means it's working.

PayPal tried to fine people $2.5K for what they say online? They walked it back HARD.
