He’s a big baby too. Doesn’t like anyone going within a couple of yards of him, and if they do he’s off chasing the officials about.

He didn’t miss pre-season though. He trained with #NUFC right up until the Celtic game on 19 July, when he then spat his dummy out and downed tools. He went to Austria for a 5 days training camp with Newcastle. He then trained on his own to work on fitness. But none of that fits the narrative.
