My best advice for differentiating a quiet, seated hawk is: Coopers are small, slender, & upright w/a striped tail; red-shouldered are mid-sized & rounder, a little more slouched, also a striped tail; & red-tailed are similar to red-shouldered but with a red tail ofc & enormous compared to other 2

There’s a lot of overlap and our hawks can be surprisingly tricky to tell apart, it’s true!

With the big white breast and striped tail, I’m going to guess red-shouldered!
