LocQuest worked with solo dev Gagonfe to localize Rocket Rats into 6 languages.

We’ve been smelling some rats in gaming recently. Luckily, there are still devs out there that care about fair, ethical localization. 🛡️
Solo-dev Gagonfe has launched their newest project, Rocket Rats, with the help of LocQuest for localization. Rocket Rats is a survivors-like game where you defeat cheese-based astral bodies in space – as a rat! LocQuest localized the game into German, Spanish (Spain), Japanese, Korean, Polish, and Russian. A quote from Gagonfe, developer: “You guys are so fucking cool! It's awesome to know you approach your work lighthearted and in a fun way. I was honestly tired from people reaching out to me offering their localization services and mentioning AI as a big selling point like "we use AI to bring quality to our work” The names and roles of all the localization managers, translators, and LQA specialists involved in localizing the game.

LocQuest localized the game into German, Spanish (Spain), Spanish (LatAM), French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazil), Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese. Plus 3 additional Steam page languages: Italian, Dutch, and Russian. A quote from Doot, the developer: “I love working with LocQuest for multiple reasons: I get good feedback from players, having only one point of contact for all localization + LQA is really great as an indie, and I know from people who work for them that they credit and pay well!” The names and roles of all the localization managers and translators involved in localizing the game.
