It is just getting harder and harder for me to think that I will ever feel any warmth again towards any of my American friends and family who voted for Donald Trump. The post today is a new low and who thought he could reach new lows but alas he has. I mourn for all of us everyday.

Looks like what I carried around at George Brown College when I was studying Millinery. We had all our sewing needles and wire and sewing machine feet in those tool boxes. All fashion students had them!

You are correct Kara! I agree. We have a situation like that here in Canada where the third place party really helps to tip scales in legislation and the discussion beforehand. Our PM Carney needs to have support from at least 3 members of another party to pass bills.

The golden dome is years away ... smart strategy to say we want to be part of it. Strategy for these times. Another thought ... can you imagine actually believing that Trump is some sort of Christian leader and that ending up in heaven means you have to listen to him whine for eternity? ugggg

My dad fought in Conn Smythe's battalion...all the guys who came home were friends for life. Now just about all of those vets are gone and we head towards history repeating the same sad lessons. We failed to pass on the misery of war to our kids. Thank you for being so awesome and reminding us.

Kingi is amazing. So much talent and she has so much passion for her work. Her work and her imagination is inspiring and is always top notch. We used some of her hand painted/screen printed fabric in our hat line years ago. I just love her work. She is the queen for sure!

They would not marry me and my first husband because we "lived in sin" in 1983. We married at city hall. Then we moved to a third world country and they accepted anyone into the church, without any restrictions, converts from other faiths. My opinions about the church have never recovered sadly.

Advanced polls are still being counted! In our riding we pulled away some of the advance poll workers who should have been counting last night to work all day in various election day polls where folks who had been hired called in sick or decided not to work. So there is that.
