Art is more than just drawing or painting. Music production, game design, film making, photography, and much much more can be done instead. Just because you weren't good at one thing doesn't mean you can't try another. The point is that you're passionate about what you make.

Let me preface this. I'm not an artist. I know I could become one if I tried. I'm confident you could, too.

I understood the point, trust me. I'm more hung up on the comparison between being an artist and a multimillionaire super athlete. That's a clear example of false equivalence.

If you just can't seem to grasp drawing, that's unfortunate, and I'm sorry. But please try not to turn people away from it.

These are two VERY different things to "try harder" at. Not sure if this is fair.

Art supplies are very cheap. Get a pencil and a napkin. A stick and some dirt. Practicing is easy and accessible.

Personal training and specialized facilities for athletics are expensive. Not everyone can do this.
