Today’s progress. I don’t love what I’ve done with the seed beads so far and I puckered the fabric with the Y and O so I might redo those parts. I’m planning to fill in the entire perimeter with beads and French knots so the seed bead part probably won’t matter.

Made a lot of progress today. Finished all the lettering and satin stitched one of the big letters. I swear I only have the patience to do one block letter a day. I’m trying to decide if I’m also going to satin stitch the broom and the wand. I don’t want to lmao.

The hairline of this wig is weird af so I did my best and I’m hoping once it’s glued down to my head it’ll look less weird. I sprayed it with some dry shampoo to dull the synthetic shine a bit and then added a shimmer spray on top so it sparkles in the light.

I went for a simple Halloween colored look instead of something elaborate. I’m going to do a siren look Thursday and then Friday I’ll do my actual Halloween costume which I’m so excited about.

We’re 98% sure we’ve landed on Mabel for the name of our kitty. I just got the best morning snuggles with her and I wish I didn’t work today so I could snuggle her all day.
