We do too, due to a newish, large couch (aka cat bed) that our bodies do not feel like rearranging the living room for to set up a large tree. Unfortunately Marco has the same tree monching habit for the little tree that he is demonstrating here on the large one 😑

The Pronotum, the area just behind the head is broadly ovoid and has a similar iridescent sheen that the head has. The elytra, the hardened wing that covers the beetle's flying wings and abdomen, is a bright metallic green.

Tulip Poplar, Liriodendron tulipifera is one of my favorite trees. In #Autumn the leaves turn a gorgeous yellow, and this one has just a strand of spider silk across its crown 😻
