I was skeptical about Letterboxd’s Video Store, and this would have been a good opportunity for transparency (a bit like music streaming cost vs. artist royalties). Let’s face it, a sizeable portion of the rental price is going to the new shareholders.

Tiring weekend walking this guy around one-handed, trying to stay sane at 6 year old’s birthday party and far too much small talk with distant relatives. Booked a hotel for the night and we’re going to snack on room service and have a bath (me not him).

This is probably fake but the obsession to wrack up crazy stats to be able to post about it online is deranged. Same for films. Nobody other than you gives a shit that you wasted your life watching the same film 50 times in a year. Some people are insufferable.

I’m on episode 4 of the new Stranger Things and it’s been quite dull so far. I don’t know whether it’s because I know the actor playing him is a Zionist POS and/or just because he’s a bad actor, but Will is noticeably even more annoying this season.

Someone was telling me about E33 today in the most enthusiastic way possible that it made me want to play it (another game I probably start and don’t finish… so maybe not).

I’ve owned the Human Condition on blu-ray for a while and never got round to watching it. Might stick on Part 1 this evening in my quest to watch Nakadai’s entire filmography before I die.
