The day after the Penn State game (2OT win), I booked refundable flights to Miami from Portland for the National Championship using 20,000 Alaska Air miles. It was going to be one of my best redemptions ever. So bummed for so many reasons, but #GoDucks forever and always.

Again, the Thorns being third this season is STUNNING. Sure, KC blew the rest of the league away, and 5 points separated 3rd from 9th. But this year, of all years, to host a playoff game? Tip of the hat to the players, staff, and organization. #BAONPDX #NWSL
Final standings for the 2025 #NWSL regular season: A 90+8 winner by Ally Schlegel in Chicago means the Stars finish level on points (20) with Bay FC, who bottomed out to end the season. It also meant 2025 didn't tie the 2018 season's 48-point gap from first to last.
