Thanks, Andrew! It took longer and caused more stress than it should have, but it was worth it for the end result—I'm glad this section of Valencia now has curbside bikeways. Now, time to finish the job for south of 23rd 👏

Great question and point! Yes, there will be plastic soft-hit posts in the “buffer” between the bikeway and driving lanes. Full design at www.sfmta.com/media/41021/....

There should be concrete separating the bikeway—and protecting people on bikes—but this is all the City was willing to do for now.
