I am increasingly of the opinion that people who change menus and look and feel of computer software just so that you know it's a new version should be personally forced to play tech support to my mother for five months.

Greens - Lower bills through nationalising our public services, wealth tax on assets and huge increase in investment in our public services.

Labour - ID Cards, random statements about flags and Austerity 2.0.

But apparently the Green Party are the "vibes era?"

Make it make sense!
Politics is in a vibes era. Nigel Farage and Zack Polanski are proof of that. But maybe Keir Starmer can take positivity from Ruben Amorim.

The cruelty is the point.

Pure evil.
The USDA sent an email to grocery stores telling them they are prohibited from offering special discounts to customers affected by the SNAP funding lapse.
I'm aware of at least 2 stores that had offered struggling customers a discount, then withdrew it after receiving this email

18 months ago when I rocked up for my debut as a @greenparty.org.uk councillor on #BBCPoliticsNorth, I’d never have thought that by now we’d have @zackpolanski.bsky.social being asked by @bbcrichardmoss.bsky.social about Greens possibly running Newcastle Council in May…. but that just happened! 👀

An actual quote from the Secretary of State for Business and Trade

Too often people go to university to ‘explore research and knowledge’

Look forward to Wes S saying 'too often people go to hospital to have operations' or Heidi Alexander saying 'too often people go to the station to catch a train'

<Epidemiologists the world over raise a quizzical eyebrow>
Among those speaking against had been Baroness (Amanda) Spielman, the former chief inspector of schools and also a Conservative, who argued: “We should not collect data by constantly asking children who are not unwell about their wellbeing.”

The public shouldn’t just imagine what it’s like being the headteacher or on the advisory board that signed off a toilet use prevention policy which according to an Ofsted inspection “present risks to pupils’ mental and physical health.”
Imagine being a child in that environment too.
Finally, diary also highlights an inspection report on a school where Ofsted, unusually, stated that a school’s toilet rules “present risks to pupils’ mental and physical health”.

Blood donation number 92 in the bag.
Your first blood donation is the most awesome feeling in the world, you realise you’ve potentially saved three people’s lives by just lying down then having a biscuit & a drink.

Please give blood if you are able to, & thank you if you already do.

If you think this is something new, the first internment camp they sent me and my family to in 1942 was a barbed wire prison called Rohwer. It was located in the swamps of Arkansas.

The BBC & Telegraph are trailing Wes Streeting’s technophile health plans, including genomic mapping at birth.
Is this really gonna transform the NHS into a prevention service within 10 yrs, as Wes claims? For v rare genetic conditions, praps. But for the real burden of disease?

Thoughts, #medsky?
