This is my Grandfather in WWII. I thought you might like this one. He was from Sherbrooke, Quebec and was a PIAT gunner. Also perhaps a bit of a nut.

Good to know. I wonder if oiling the leather with mink oil or neatsfoot would help. I might have to make a test version and report back!

Also, if he was snapped out of existence would the gauntlet have gone with him? Everyone's clothing and stuff did.

I have the same issue, I just call it practice! I have a ton of shop furniture and cabinets that I built over the years and it certainly helps to improve my techniques and make mistakes without it mattering as much.

I just looked (here in Canada) and if you zoom in it says "Gulf of Mexico (Gulf of America)", but only at certain zoom levels. Does yours say that too?
