Companies don't want us to have our own, performant computing hardware at home.
They'd rather want us to use pathetically underpowered devices, with just enough memory for a 4K framebuffer and just enough horsepower to push pixels into it at 120 FPS, to connect to and use only their cloud services.

The body of the Var'U'San is typically slim, with long limbs & lean muscles. Their ribcage has a gap at the front held together by tendons.
I'm thinking about giving them the ability to expand their ribcage further by stretching the gap. For extra oxygen consumption.

The past couple days I've been browsing through the wall of AI slop that dominates Deviantart now.
I think I can count two instances of something that was interesting.
But in each case, I couldn't stop thinking: 'A person could do this better, and make it an actual artwork.'
