He can be impeached. Same procedure as impeaching a POTUS. House votes for it & Senate holds trial. A POTUS cannot pardon away an impeachment. trump can also fire him but really I don't see either scenario happening with the Congress we have now.

Two questions. Can Hegseth be impeached? And does a pardon have any effect on the powers of impeachment? I’m not asking if he will be, just whether it is legally possible.
