one of the reasons that i cancelled this project was due to constrains on the vfx side, im really happy to see motion vectors being finally added to godot 4.6 after all this time, now i can finally do some crazy post processing effects for my next game

there's two draw calls that i have no idea what they do tho, they seem to blur up the screen just a little, might be a simple haze effect to make everything look more dream'y, it doesn't looks like anti-aliasing to me, but i might be wrong

taking a look at how exok managed to render that 3d map in celeste and something caught my eye, they drew all of the transparent meshes in one draw call and i have no idea how.
other than that, everything is super straight to the point, they even use baked lightning to keep it even more simple

tried importing a GLTF model, was kind of a hassle, there's barely any documentation on the lib i was using, but was able to do it nontheless
i really wanna keep working on this, working with frameworks is fun as hell

650ms of frame time hiccup for when i start a simulation, i should be locked up in a prison to never see the light of day again, omg how did i get to this point??? and it is supposed to run in BROWSERS!!!! no idea how i will optimize these navigation agents, im panicking...

tried to make my own custom build of godot to decrease the size of the web runtime by disabling some big modules (+ some other classes) that my game doesn't use and ended up barely making a difference at the end of the day, 2+ hrs of compilation time for this, kind of sad tbh

JK, but fr now, Juan seems to have given up from being a public figure last year, leaving the community in the dark about a lot of info regarding the making of the engine, somethings that is being sorely missed by everyone.

I just finished SH3, this game just turned into my favorite game of all time (sry hyper light, ur 2nd place now) it's truly an amazing heartfelt experience, loved every moment of it, from beginning to end
