Nodding. I too would time travel to sort out that compound interest - probably introduced to the concept in high school, but it doesn’t sink in until later.

I am trying to pass as much of this stuff on to the young dude before he faces the big things. (He’s not a big spender, but a fair chunk has gone to fun stuff vs. planning.) A lot of “don’t do what I did and here’s why….”

Looking forward to a long stretch of preparing side dishes, knitting (cast on a new one?), cat time, watching the dog show, etc. Oh and family (the young dude is up from college the whole week).
