What a delight it was to visit @themerl.bsky.social today. There were absolute units, and much more. (I also admired the compact shelving and item collections in the upstairs area.) Easy train ride from Paddington Station - recommend.

Knitter talk: the picot bind-off so far. Much less complicated than last time - maybe because this pattern has a kyok on rs ends. My first picot try before the last project had these weird growths, like I kept knitting off the picot? idek

The cake looks more golden in this light (vs the paler yellow from yesterday’s flash-post). I think it might work for needing an autumn range (trying to apply color analysis in my knitting for others).
