I had a 5K short fiction, submitted for my final in college, which the prof told me was publishable as is. I took that story to novel length and then reworked it twenty times until I thought I well and truly ruined it. Sometimes just leaving 'good' alone is better than pursuing perfection.

There are films.
I don't even want to know.

I wonder how many college bound folk would go into medicine/medical careers if they could get tuition forgiveness after [X] years of public health service? I think that doctors and nurses should make a very good living, enough to diversify & invest their excess if they want... like rich people do

Part of me thinks I should feel empathy for this man, but the other part of me says nah because I'm pissed off as hell - I didn't vote for this and it's hurting ALL of us. First time ever, I can't afford to buy Christmas dinner or presents for my grandkids (and I'm frugal!).

He voted for it. Buyers remorse sucks huh?

Humble opinion: The 50K is taxed as income.
The 2.5b should be taxed whenever stocks are sold or transferred. The same way one shouldn't pay tax on their property's appreciation until they sell the house, or car, or whatever/other thing of material value.

How much of the health care system is health care vs. insurance care? How much is/was the average profit of insurers, who do not provide the actual health care but still seem to get a cut of it? It's a needless middleman in the system, don't forget to deduct that cost from the overall figures.

I'm already paying more for health insurance, co-pays and deductibles than I do in taxes. Even if it's a wash, it'd be better because it's S I M P L E R. Hello Mr. Occam!

The popular notion is to tax 90% on income OVER a billion, so forgive me for not feeling badly about that! Y'all will be fine.

Yes, we anticipate paying more in taxes, that is the appropriate way to help fund the public good. A more progressive tax system would help too. Some money could be pulled from... idk, Hegseth's war crap? Tuition forgiveness for doctors & nurses... hospitals as non-profit.

I will try and throw some $ your way when I can. Barely making it these days, groceries and medical are taking it all (plus some), car broke down, and now flooding is adding another headache.

A big thank you from a broke nobody in WA!

Release the files, not just the #EpsteinFiles but also the #MaxwellFiles from 2022 when Ghislaine the pedo-pimp was brought up on charges. They're trying hard to keep us from seeing those!
