Last night's photo session was magical. I was struggling with mental state early in the work day, succeeded in recovering a very good head space and carried it into the evening gym session. Got my lift and cardio done, then home for grooming, food, dishes, and then at 10pm at night I finally was-1/3

I think I genuinely can't stand working here but I don't know what that means and it makes it even more frustrating. I have no idea where to go either. I don't know. I'm tired of working for old dumb fucks who don't give a damn about what's going on or the people around them.

Today's session on Elden Ring, following the intended path and some of the surrounding areas has felt amazing. I found a new weapon that I really enjoy.

Okay, so another main boss down. This one I was able to create a pretty effective script for the fight over time, but again super specific timing and spacing requirements with constant frame traps and a DM move that can one shot. Better feeling design here, at least.

Alright, lets see if we can get some more Elden Ring done. I'm going to forgo the super tanky boss I gotta fight with range, and backtrack to try and find the narrative progression again. I'll have to figure out a solution to ranged DPS.

So the first of the recycled DLC bosses I have to fight now requires me to fight it from ranged, it has a gigantic health pool, and I am a melee build. WHY? I am genuinely disappointed so far. I found 1 weapon today for hours of frustration at just trying to beat recycled bosses I've already fought.

This DLC is not fun yet. I'm fighting another overpowered deathright bird struggling with the same camera issues. I've already killed another recycled boss out of the few I fought 2/3? have been recycled. I've spent more time fighting the camera and bullshit boss mechanics than the game itself.

Okay so I just beat the first boss I encountered, spoiler free in a sense, the way you beat the first boss just feels like I am forced to summon, forced to mimmic tear, forced to be overleveled, or forced to break his own broken homing on a few select moves. Like I am not a fan of that guy.

So I'm at my first boss in this DLC and I can't mention anything but disappointment at this point. Everybody keeps praising the difficulty of this DLC but there has not been anything meaningfully difficult yet until this fuckin' guy and he isn't fun. It's just a requirement to play perfectly. Why?

We are all locked in cycles. Everything looks like a circle at first. Success, failure, grief, healing, all look similar. When I stagnate, I feel it like 2 dimensions, stuck on one plane. When I heal, I bring higher dimensional energy that lifts it 'off the page' looking more like an incline...-
