Tried it, two decades ago (egads, where does the time go?) in a tea shop in Athens. Greece, not Georgia, USA, before anyone asks. I was underwhelmed. But a recent-ish article has had me looking for it …

This is a reasonable reason to do that. I do wish mainstream publishers would cut it out with the Trade Paperbacks, however.

FWIW, I am entirely "down" with hardback and oversized hardback books. But the Trade Paperback can GTFO. It takes up unnecessary shelf space and delays the publication of the mass market paperback.

There's something so shocking about a fantasy novel being focused on a woman in her seventies that episodic plotting is forgotten. Set in alternate London powered by an ancient dragon's ghost, it pings with psychogeography and aching tenderness.

I am a dreadful ignoramus with some real weaknesses in breadth of reading. From a hasty online search, both books sound fascinating. But--egads! The cover of "Don't Tell Alfred" really appeals to me.
