Companies who are considering more days per week in a RTO mandate will find that failing to be well versed in the social science research of how humans work best will cause them to fall behind in the future of work.

San Francisco Ocean Beach #NoKings protest was a beautiful display of community, solidarity & democracy. Toddlers waved tiny U.S. flags, dogs raced by foamy waves, retired couples raised California flags & we held hands smiling at the West coast sea, protesting what is happening on the East coast.

The world lost a warrior for truth @ justice yesterday. Jennifer Lyell, #survivor & advocate for abuse reform in the Southern Baptist Convention passed away at the young age of 47.
Her abuse at the hands of her seminary professor led to her being victim-blamed by #SBC pastors & leaders. 💔

I grew up as a Southern Baptist. I have long since left this denomination, but I care deeply still about justice for those who survived abuse in all forms within it.
The Southern Baptist Convention annual meeting takes place next week. I wrote down some thoughts on my Substack that drops tomorrow.

This #MothersDay, let’s give moms more than flowers.

As a global talent strategist and board leader, I believe the real gifts are:
• Equal opportunity
• Livable wages
• Affordable child care
• Paid family leave
• Retirement with dignity

Moms deserve better from government and corporations.

As someone who grew up in Valencia, Venezuela and has dedicated my life to advocating for human rights, I am outraged by the recent revelations about the current US administration’s covert operation—backed by Marco Rubio—to deport Venezuelan migrants to a Salvadoran prison under inhumane conditions.

🚨 The #1 reason your team isn’t thriving?
They don’t feel safe enough to speak up.

Psychological safety isn’t a nice-to-have—it’s the foundation of trust, innovation, and retention. In cultures where people feel seen, heard, and valued, great work actually happens.

So long, London.

After getting rerouted over Greenland on a flight from SFO to London Heathrow, due to the Heathrow fire, it was great trip once I finally made it. ✈️🌍

Conducted a successful leadership summit last week, had a gorgeous weekend with friends, and going home fulfilled.

Breakfast in Billund.

It was great to finally get a full night’s sleep after being rerouted mid-flight en route to London Heathrow on Thursday. With a reroute through DC, NYC and Amsterdam with only 4 hrs of sleep 3 nights in a row, the Danish #hygge has been a welcome calm.

Finally on the last flight of a wild rebooking journey since I was on a flight from SFO to #London Heathrow on Thurs and was rerouted over #Greenland due to #LHRfire to land in DC. After 2 half nights there, we were routed through Newark for a 12 hr layover. Now in Amsterdam, headed to #Denmark. ✈️
March 23, 2025 at 9:27 AM
Spent a beautiful layover day in New York City.

London Heathrow is opening back up, after our flight was rerouted mid-flight over Greenland due to fire at airport.

However, the flights to London are all full for several days.

We were rerouted to Amsterdam. From New Amsterdam to Amsterdam today. ✈️

☘️ Your Future is Yours to Write! 🌍🔥

Too often, we let our past define us. But here’s the truth: You are not your mistakes. You are not your failures. You are not your fears. 🚀

Like St. Patrick reminds us, the past is behind you, and your future is wide open.

Did you know that boards with 30%+ women make better decisions, recall faulty products faster, and improve stakeholder management? Research proves that women’s leadership disrupts groupthink & boosts financial performance—it’s a game-changer for businesses striving for equity and inclusion.

In a world that seems to have gone mad, a trip to the Beitou hot springs near Taipei gave me the somatic experience my body and soul needed on Saturday.

Highly recommend if you are ever in Taipei.
