Incumbents should welcome primary challengers. Parties should insist on primary challengers.

Winning a seat one time does not entitle you to the seat forever. And a political system that makes such an assumption is broken from the get-go.

White Christian Nationalism ruins everything.

Giving back is great. Helping your neighbors is wonderful.

There is no amount of mutual aid or volunteer hours that will fix a corrupt system.

The corrupt core is a tax code that allows the ultra rich and large corporations to steal our money, with our support!

Hayek told one truth and one lie.

The truth was that the government can create a state apparatus that makes the ultra rich even richer and the largest corporations even larger.

The lie was that you, the not already fabulously wealthy, would also become rich under such a system.

In every corner of CA34, residents tell me homelessness is a top two issue.

They want someone to do something!

In the multi-family home zone areas, which tend to be the areas impacted by homelessness, the residents understand we need to upzone and build housing in the

This chart demonstrates White Christian Nationalism at work. The ICE raids are not about making anyone safer, more secure or wealthier.

Trump and MAGA want a white America and are targeting mostly Latinos, but really anyone with brown skin, to intimidate people into thinking they don’t belong.

I’m running for Congress in CA34 to represent Los Angeles and to deliver an All-American vision: equal tax, equal vote, equal rights.

The ultra-rich are not special.

Their money is not special.

So why do we have a tax code that treats the ultra-rich and their money as special?

The time for a fair and equal tax is now.

Today is a beautiful day to call for a fair and equal tax.

Treat every dollar of personal income—wages, inheritance, capital gains, wagering winnings, loans against stock, rents, royalties—exactly the same for tax purposes.

No hiding or sheltering income. No special rates.

The 45 year neo-liberal, trickle down, global empire experiment is fast approaching its Zenith.

The conversation should start to focus on what’s going to replace it. What’s next, America?

The two party system of only Democrats and Republicans does not work for you.

No one is going to fix that for you.

If you want a system that does work for you, then you’re going to have to come out and help build it.

This will take all of us.

Everything is a sideshow and distraction from creating a fair and equal tax that taxes the ultra rich on every dollar of their wealth the exact same way you are.

I don’t want a new CA. I like the CA I live in, especially the people who live in it with me.

I certainly want to see CA improve and restore its dream as a place of opportunity for all.

That starts by building all types of housing everywhere.

I think it's better to eliminate primaries, implement nonpartisan open single generals with rcv/stv.

Russia-Ukraine peace plan. Make Ukraine whole. Make Russia pay.
November 23, 2025 at 9:34 PM
Two options for stock buybacks, and I’m fine with either one:

1. A 100% tax paid by the corporation on the value of the stock buyback

2. Outlaw stock buybacks completely like they were before 1982

Boycotts are nice.

Taxing the ultra rich on their inheritance, capital gains and loans against stocks without being able to hide any of it the exact same way you are taxed on your wages is even nicer.

Angelenos, if you are a parent or grandparent and you want your children and grandchildren to be able to live in Los Angeles as adults, the one and only solution is to build more housing of every kind, everywhere.

The Russia-Ukraine peace plan has three easy steps:

1. Russia immediately stops all hostilities

2. Russia withdraws its complete state and military apparatus from all parts of Ukraine, including Crimea, retuning to the 2014 border

3. Russia pays Ukraine $1 trillion in war reparations
