Its gotten so much worse the past 2 years.

The city we were in has been approving an apartment complex on the edge of town for the past 30 years, but always finds an environmental excuse not to allow construction, every time the neighboring city rejected a plan to take it into their school district.
Its all sfh on .75 acres or larger lots.
