I can't contain this: very little makes me angrier than the first two paragraphs of Food Lab Chapter 2. I get incensed just thinking about it.

And I can't leave Star Wars alone, in the end. The A-Wing is the best starfighter ever designed imo, and the diversity of form of starships in SW is why it has to be excluded to avoid it effortlessly dominating the conversation.

The prompt doesn't mention video games, but the Halo franchise has ship and vehicle design aced. Pelicans, Phantoms, and the Forward Unto Dawn are favs.

I loved it. The original is a top 3 for me, and it took me a bit to get rolling with NEO, but the back third shot it so far up my favs list that I now pair it with the original when I rank games. I think the first's originality leaves it on top, but NEO is a worthy successor in almost every way.

(I don't totally even believe that the "source" knows anything about the actual situation and is talking out of their ass, but even the IDEA that you have to respect the ending of the previous film in a franchise no matter what is poisonous to writers, taxing to audiences, and frankly ahistorical.

The Driver, The Doctor, The Hacker, and The Mod, plus The Hivemind, plus a cyberware subsystem and a single Action shift. The change from "Ghosts" to "Ghosts In The Machine" was surprisingly seamless.
