its extremely important to me to make mistakes and do whatever I wanna do so art remains exploratory. I love looking back and understanding why I had certain technique flaws later and why I had preferences and what I was afraid of. i have no external motivations to make art (minus communication)

i never hate my art and i don't get art blocks. I have periods where some technical flaw is bothering me more than usual which can make it all look ''bad'' for a bit but that feeling passes or if it doesn't pass, I try to improve that which is annoying me and then I move on

it also helps having an extremely economical rendering style lol, I never obsess over details that aren't the focus, whole piece feeling cohesive is all I care about

"flow state" is super easy to get into and everything takes me a few hours at most unless it's super difficult/i have other obligations. i guess this is the result of drawing basically every day for over 10 years
